Site Location: Mulago Hospital Complex in Kampala, Uganda, in collaboration with Makerere Medical School, the Uganda Cancer Institute, and the Infectious Diseases Institute.
Project: A randomized trial of the use of antiretroviral medication in treating HIV-infected persons with Kaposi's sarcoma. It is a multi-facet study that involves investigation of KS as well as KSHV and HIV. Detailed Project Description.
