NCAIDS administrative staff will provide assistance to visiting students and fellows to secure appropriate accommodations within walking distance of NCAIDS. Students will be housed near the China CDC and be able to walk to the campus. For students wishing to live farther away, Beijing has an extensive subway and bus system, which they can use.

Language requirements other than English:
Weekly workshops will be organized for US students to learn Mandarin. US students can learn Chinese, and Chinese students can learn English from each other. The senior investigators and laboratory directors at NCAIS all speak English, and our experience is that foreign students can readily function in DVRI laboratories.
